Garmin GTM 70 DAB Traffic Receiver

Receive live traffic updates and routing around congestion saving you time and money waiting in traffic jams with the GTM 70 digital traffic receiver.

The Garmin GTM 70 is the first Garmin sat nav traffic receiver to use the DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) broadcast network. All previous Garmin traffic receivers e.g. GTM 21, GTM 35and GTM 36 have used the FM broadcast network.

The main benefits for using the DAB network is it allows for continuous updates and it has the capacity to receive significantly more traffic messages than with previous FM based GTM models.

What's more, as the GTM 70 traffic receiver is designed for use with the latest 2014 range of Garmin sat navs (scroll down the page or click here for compatibility list), traffic alerts appear to the side of your map (as pictured below), so your driving map remains onscreen. Garmin Traffic can give details about the situation, such as how many minutes of delay to expect and if there are any possible detours.
